• Soil Testing - To provide the best treatment for your lawn, several samples of your soil will be taken and tested to determine nutrient content, composition and other characteristics, including contaminants, of the soil. This information will be used to customize your lawn applications.

• Core Aeration - Aerating removes plugs of soil from your lawn which breaks down thatch layers and allows the soil to open up. This process also creates thousands of growth pockets which alleviates compaction. It also catches water and lets air and nutrients in to enable the grass to grow.
• De-Thatching - Thatch is comprised of a layer of cut grass, roots, leaves, plant stems, and other debris which collects on the soil and prevents vital nutrients from reaching the soil. De-thatching is a process which removes the thatch and promotes the growth of healthy and vibrant lawns.
• Grub Control - Grubs, which are the larval stage of Japanese Beetles, damage more residential lawns in our area than all other insects combined. This treatment prevents you from needing to reseed your lawn from an infestation as it creates a barrier in the soil which kills grubs before they are able to damage the roots of your grass.
• Lime Application - Grass is most lush and green when grown in neutral soil. Lime treatments are applied to help neutralize acidic soil.

• Winterization - To protect your lawn from the harsh winter and help ensure a lush, healthy spring lawn, at the end of the season, we will aerate, fertilize, overseed, topdress and de-thatch your lawn.

Our tick and ant treatment to your lawn is an effective way to help prevent the spread of lyme disease and ant infestations on the inside of your home. Plants are energy efficient - Proper selection and placement of plant material can lower heating and cooling costs by as much as 20 percent. In climates with cold winters, trees and shrubs block the winter wind while capturing the winter sun (solar heat). They also absorb heat, thus reducing the need for air conditioning and allowing for less carbon dioxide to be emitted from electric generating facilities.

Plants help to conserve water- During summer months, one large tree can absorb as much heat as several window air conditions and can lower temperatures by 10 degrees, thereby saving electricity and water needed at cooling towers. Research suggests that 1 well-placed drought-tolerant tree can save up to 300 kilowatt-hours per year in electricity, conserving up to 180 gallons of water.
